Volunteers are not permitted toreceive financial compensation for their contributions. However, from time totime, it may be appropriate to express gratitude through a small gift. Any suchgift given to a committee member should be recorded in the accounting recordsunder the category “Gifts”, reported at the next P&C meeting, anddocumented in the meeting minutes.
Gifts received from suppliers are notpermitted due to the raise of conflict of interest
If a gift exceeds a value of $150, itmust also be disclosed to the school.
